Today’s Hanoi introduced in France
8:28 AM // 0 nhận xét // Polly Pham // Category: feature //French photographer and painter Dominique de Miscault, Editor-in-Chief of the Perspective magazine, is putting on display a number of his photos and paintings featuring Hanoi of Today at the Choisy-le-Roi’s City Hall in France.
The exhibition opened on October 22nd, with the attendance of Mayor Daniel Davisse and around 100 visitors, is part of the activities to celebrate the Millennium of Thang Long-Hanoi.
At the exhibition, pictures of Hanoi, such as the Hanoi Opera House, Metropole Hotel, 36 streets and wards of Hanoi, are lively depicted at different times and moments.
The Sword Lake, a symbol of love and peace for the Vietnamese people, is also beautified at the event.
On the sideline of the 9-day exhibition, various activities including books, CDs and food introductions will help visitors learn more about Vietnam, its culture and people.
All proceeds collected from the exhibition, jointly held by Choisy-le-Roi city and France-Vietnam Friendship Association, is expected to be presented to the Van Canh Friendship Village in order to partly ease the pain of Agent Orange victims in Vietnam.
